For us, the M3 does the "two cars in one" thing very well. When you just want to get home, it’s comfortable, roomy, quiet, equipped with the now excellent iDrive interface, and blessed with enough visual and aural drama to brighten even a winter’s night on the Trans-Canada. And when you’re on your own, in the mood, it’s a very quick, very capable car, the engine’s awesome reserves of any-rev power working with the tremendous brakes and meaty front-end grip to blaze down pretty much any stretch of road you care to point it at.

Originally sold new at the BMW Store in Vancouver, this car has been a local BC vehicle its entire life. Fully serviced by BMW Vancouver and North Vancouver, over the past 7 years and 54,600 kilometers it's had just 1 replacement of its rear taillight totaling $1,055.45. Fully inspected by a 3rd party with all records provided.

You need serious confidence to downsize an engine by two cylinders, let alone defy BMW history by giving the M3 not just one, but two turbochargers. Yet, BMW has pulled it off and the only thing we miss about the E90 was the raspy V8 noise. Set that aspect side, and there's nothing else that we miss. What makes our BMW M3 so memorable to have in inventory is its smooth 6-speed manual transmission and buttermilk gear changes. The computers would auto-rev for us when down-shifting, and even if you accidentally stall, simply mash the clutch pedal and the car will automatically restart the engine for you. The clutch grab was so forgiving that operating the M4's gearbox didn't feel like a manual whatsoever, but rather a Tiptronic with a redundant third pedal.
